Bahubali hindi movie Review
Best indian movie ever.an amazing directer SS Rajamouli made a movie in 2015 with a sequel in 2017 that managed to hit theatres all over the world and also non indians watched it and gave good reviews.all genres are well mixed -The film was written by Rajamouli's father K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, who randomly told him a story about Sivagami, a woman who carries a baby in her hand while crossing a river, and a few years later about Kattappa, which intrigued Rajamouli. His fascination with mythology and the tales of the Amar Chitra Katha comics further fuelled his interest in the story. However, it took the writers three months to complete the final draft. The soundtrack and background score were composed by M. M. Keeravani while the cinematography, production design, and VFX were handled by K. K. Senthil Kumar, Sabu Cyril and V. Srinivas Mohan respectively. The film was made on a budget of ₹180 crore (US$24 million), making it the most expensive Indian film at its time of release. The film opened worldwide on 10 July 2015 along with the dubbed versions in Hindi and Malayalam, garnering critical acclaim and record-breaking box office success. With a worldwide box office gross of ₹586.45 crore (US$77 million) in its initial theatrical run, it became the highest-grossing film in India, third highest-grossing Indian film worldwide, and highest-grossing South Indian film, at the time of its release. Its Hindi dubbed version also broke several records by becoming the highest-grossing dubbed film in India. Both budget and box office records have since been surpassed by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, the second highest grossing Indian film of all time.
It received several accolades. It won the National Film Award for Best Special Effects and Best Feature Film, becoming the first Telugu film to win the award. At the 63rd Filmfare Awards South, the Telugu version won five awards from ten nominations, including Best Film, Best Director for Rajamouli and Best Supporting Actress for Ramya Krishna respectively. Baahubali: The Beginning became the first Indian film to be nominated for Saturn Awards, receiving five nominations at the 42nd ceremony, including Best Fantasy Film and Best Supporting Actress.action, drama, romance a little bit of comedy makes bahubali the best.Amazing CGI says IN YOUR FACE to other indian movies.amazing
cinematography,story,makeup and BGM.
Cast-
I was impressed in everyone's acting.the magnum opus made a boost to the already popualar actors career.
PRABHAS-what should i say. he is the bahubali so there is not much to talk about him cause he is just tooooo good.
RANA DAGGUBATI-he is actually having the best perfomance.i actually felt that i liked him who is the villain and not prabhas who is the hero.he only had few years of experience of acting after a couple of flops.but he is just amazing. He also managed to get into bollywood
TAMANNAAH-tamanaah got little screen time, but that doesn't matter. it is that she impressed me with her skills within that short screen time.a thing about tamanaah is that she usually refuses to a movie if she just stays there to look good besides the hero, being saved multiple times.in this she potrays a rebel woman who has impressive sword fight skills, who fallls in love with prabhas after she drops her mask tempting him to find her.while wooing her he finds out that devasena is his mother and many other stories about his family story.
Bedazzled by the near 3 hour extravaganza scripted and directed by Telugu whiz kid S.S. Rajamouli, I sit down now to write about my movie "experience". Yes, Bahubali is not just a film, it's an expeirence; a triumph of Rajamouli's vision and innovation. It is actually a 5+ hour spectacle out of which we get to see only the first part as 'Bahubali:The Beginning'.
Rajamouli takes the story outline from Disney 's 'Lion King', indianises it with characters inspired from Mahabharata ( the epic not the TV series) and presents it on a lavish scale in league of 'Lord of the Rings' and '300' series. The end result is a magnum opus never seen before in Indian cinema.
Technically, the movie is outstanding and every money spent (It's said to be most expensive Indian film) on the mind blowing CGI and VFX reflects on screen. The last hour war sequence matches the grandeur of '300' with possibly just a tenth of that movie's budget. Content wise too, the film connects with its audience and quite a few scenes stand out. The opening waterfall scene, the titular hero (Prabhas) lifting the Shiva linga, the antagonist's entry are imaginatively executed. On flip side, the romantic angle in first half appears distracting. Also, an item song post interval looks forced and needless.
Prabhas and Rana Daggubatti have worked hard on their physique and the effort is evident in their action scenes. Tamannah Bhatia looks pretty and acts better than her Sajid Khan outings in Hindi. Ramya Krishnan and Nasser lend good support.
